MICHEL GUILLON SPORTS VISION CLINIC is actively involved with elite athletes. Currently the clinic carries out sports vision optometric services for Chelsea Football Club, specialist vision reaction training for the goalkeepers, in collaboration with Christophe Lollichon the goalkeeping coach, and a research programme on the influence of ocular / motor dominance in football. In tennis the clinic has developed a specific vision optometric assessment routine for the Lawn Tennis Association for the top 50 British players. Dr Michel Guillon is also working on vision strategy using a wireless eye tracker with Anna Smith (4th Ranked British double player) and her coach Eric Docherman. Recently the clinic has worked with the British badminton mixed pair that competed in Beijing, Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms, including the development of a specific vision training programme for Gail.
