The COS 3500 is a compact system to optimise the determination of the spectacle prescription.  The digital unit offers several advantages compared to conventional systems:

  • The unit linked to the videoaberroscope RK 10,000 and through its distance controlled lens changing system reduces the time to arrive to the final prescription by half.  The shortened examination time reduces fatigue contributing to achieving an accurate determination of the spectacle prescription.
  • The special projection system of the test chart which is part of the reduced distance  screen helps to control the accomodation of children and youngsters contrubing to avoid over prescribing myopic corrections.
