At MICHEL GUILLON, in addition to the conventional binocular vision tests incorporated in the Nidek COS 3500 system and small instrumentation (e. g. Mallett FIxation Disparity..), emphasis has been put onto incorporating new specialised computer based system for both testing and training binocular vision.

The software currently used for binocular vision and perceptual testing and training include:

• PTS Perceptual Thearapy System III and PTS Perceptual Visual therapy Programme
• VPE Visual Performance Enhancement for Athletes

The software systems incorporate data exchange between the patient and the clinic via the internet.  The clinic monitors the patients' training progress on line in between visits and modifies the programme as needed; real  time monitoring optimises the efficiency of the training carried out by the patients.
