BESPOKE SPECTACLES & SUNGLASSES
MICHEL GUILLON Bespoke spectacles and sunglasses are uniquely designed, hand made, signed pieces. Their purchase ensures the ultimate in eyewear: a unique piece deigned to the client exact requirements that perfectly fits the face.

Differently from other eyewear bespoke or semi bespoke or other services MICHEL GUILLON Bespoke service does not copy or modify existing models but produces a unique eyewear. In fact there are no limitation as to the material used; spectacles or sunglasses can be made in acetate, wood, horn, metal or gold and incorporate precious stone if desired.

The process is usually a four visit process:
  • The initial conceptualisation visit includes an in depth interview to develop the project blue print; the visit includes also an extensive range of ocular and facial measurements and digital photographs.
  •  The second visit is to review the computer generated designs proposed; the designs are superimposed onto the client face in real size to help selection. At the completion of the visit the design features have been narrowed and the spectacle material and colour are in part selected.
  • The third visit is to review the updated designs and make a final choice including material and colour. At the end of the visit the technical drawings of the bespoke eyewear are finalised and send to the craftsman for hand manufacturing. We work with several craftsmen individually selected for each project depending upon the material used.
  • At the fourth visit the bespoke eyewear, which is personalised with the client name on the inside of the temple is dispensed.
